FIFA 15: 10 Players Who Need Upgrading After World Cup

4. Guillermo Ochoa €“ 78

Guillermo Ochoa had been to both South Africa in 2010 and Germany in 2006 but had been unused in the previous two tournaments. Finally in Brazil, he was given his World Cup debut and proved that he should have been the first choice keeper for Mexico throughout his career. Now 29-years-old, Ochoa should hopefully still be available for 2018 in Russia. Ochoa conceded just one goal in the group stages in the 3€“1 victory over Croatia which qualified Mexico for the next round. Without doubt the most impressive match of Ochoa€™s tournament was the game against Brazil in which he practically single-handedly allowed Mexico to secure a surprising 0€“0 draw (the first sign that the host nation weren€™t going to live up to expectations). In this game Ochoa made four remarkable saves, one of which has been compared to Gordon Banks€™ iconic save from Pele. In the knock-out game against the Netherlands where Mexico€™s campaign would ultimately end, Ochoa made several crucial saves which allowed Mexico to hold a 1€“0 lead against the might of the Dutch offence until the final few minutes. Though they lost, the talented keeper still earned his second Man of the Match award. Now a free agent, the underrated Ochoa is supposedly one of Liverpool€™s target transfers. Suggested Rating: 82
