FIFA 15: 10 Under-Rated Players Who Need Upgrading

1. Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid) €“ 92

For so many instalments in the franchise Cristiano Ronaldo has been in the shadow of Barcelona€™s Lionel Messi, but the release of FIFA 15 should finally break this trend. Based on this season€™s performance €“ which is, after all, what the ratings should be derived from €“ Ronaldo has been the best player in the world, not only keeping Real Madrid ahead of fierce rivals Barcelona in the league but also being the talismanic player in Los Blancos dominant Champions League campaign. Where Lionel has been uncharacteristically subdued when playing for Barca, Ronaldo has looked better than ever warranting his Ballon d'Or nod earlier this year. Not only is Cristiano perhaps one of the greatest pure athletes to ever grace the field but he supplements this physical brilliance with unteachable footballing talent. It would be wrong to completely count out the little Argentine €“ who knows what will happen in the World Cup €“ but as it stands Cristiano Ronaldo is deserving of a rating boost to acknowledge that he is currently the world€™s greatest footballer. Of course, there's the awkward fact that if FIFA continues putting Messi on the box art, they'll probably be reluctant to let him play second fiddle to the Portuguese, regardless of his season, but that shouldn't stop the developers giving CR7 the acknowledgement his stellar season deserves.
