6. Goalkeepers Have Finally Received Some Attention
The men between the sticks have long needed some attention and FIFA 15 seems to have gone a long way in improving our shot-stoppers of choice (although, they certainly arent perfect). The brains behind EA Sports FIFA series have always said that the coding behind our Wojciech Szczesnys, Manuel Neuers and Claudio Bravos is some of the hardest and most complicated hence the regular, and frustrating, decision making during FIFAs gone by. Keepers diving aimlessly, kicking it instead of picking it up and running round like headless chickens certainly hasnt been eradicated but it is certainly a lot less frequent. Saves feel more natural and appropriate in the circumstances this certainly makes you feel like you were thwarted by a world-class goalkeeper rather than some dodgy computer programming. Improvements to the goalkeepers seems to have also taken away their ability as immovable objects that, unless you run at a certain speed and angle, you wouldnt be able to slot the ball past them. Now, however, you can finish through the likes of Joe Harts legs and one-one-ones may see the resulting save fall kindly to your supporting striker.
