FIFA 15 Ratings: 10 Criminally Underrated Superstars

8. Juan Mata (85)

Unlike Aaron Ramsey and Daniel Sturridge, Juan Mata HAS made the top 50 on FIFA 15 and comes in at 41st place on the upcoming football simulation game. The Manchester United midfielder had something of a mixed season in 2013-14, but his downgrade of two points from last year's game is no less harsh. Mata has seen his overall rating slashed from the 87 he enjoyed in predecessor '14 to 85, which is just about enough to see the former Chelsea star scrape into the top 50. Last season was a mixed bag for the Spain international, who spent half of the campaign on the bench at Stamford Bridge and the other half scoring goals for United. Unwanted and unused by Jose Mourinho at Chelsea, Mata was on the fringes in west London up until January this year and that has no doubt resulted in his demotion. Which is cruel because he showed that he is a world class player after moving to Old Trafford last winter, scoring six goals in 15 league outings. Surely his rating should have remained on 87, for the 26-year-old neither regressed nor progressed last season.
