Martial has been a known talent in France for some time, but it was the 2014/15 season that his stock went up across Europe. AS Monaco were in trouble financially and it fell onto the shoulders of youngsters like Martial to step up to the plate. Monaco made it to the quarter finals of the Champions League and finished third in Ligue 1 with Martial playing over 40 matches throughout the season. Despite not being the most clinical finisher yet, Martial boasts impressive footballing intelligence, finding space and timing runs that regularly create chances for the team. His pace and dribbling skills make him a constant threat both in front and behind defenders. Martial will likely be unavailable for the first season having just signed for Manchester United, but he could well be worth a look for the year after.
