Who’s actually hot (and who’s actually not) in FIFA 16?

It’s nearly here. FIFA 16 is ready for release towards the end of September, and just to whet your appetite, you can now try out the hotly-anticipated demo version of the game.

Alongside the demo though, game-makers EA Sports have recently confirmed player ratings for a host of clubs in the new game. The list includes the likes of Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester City, Paris Saint Germain and European champions Barcelona.

Each outfit boasts a stream of world-class talent, and even before the main release of FIFA 16 you’re able to test the game out – with the aforementioned clubs – in the demo.

But this article will bring you a selection of those confirmed ratings. Here, we focus on Premier League powerhouses Manchester City, who saw their title challenge fall short last season. They've played themselves in to the status as championship favourites recently though, after a lightning start to the season and after making a host of excellent summer signings.

Keep an eye out for their squad ratings for FIFA 16, and how last season affected the FIFA futures of big names like Sergio Aguero, David Silva and Yaya Toure.

Each rating and card image is taken directly from the EA Sports website, though some could yet be subject to change.

24. Patrick Roberts - 65

Signed for big bucks from Fulham in the summer, Patrick Roberts is one for Manchester City's future. Or he's possibly just one to fill in the gaps as they try and meet UEFA home-grown requirements. Either or.

Roberts doesn't have a brilliant card on FIFA 16, but to be fair to him, he was born in 1997.

It's scary that people born that recently are now professional footballers.
