Raphael Varane is gradually getting better, year on year. He's expected to develop into perhaps the world's leading centre half by the time he hits his mid-to-late 20's, but there's a few things he needs to iron out in his game first.

The Frenchman will be looking to make the place alongside Sergio Ramos in central defence completely his own this season, though he faces stiff competition in the ageing Pepe for that honour.

Pepe remains superior to Varane on FIFA 16, though you can't imagine it'll be for much longer if Varane keeps on the same path.
