He was the forgotten man in the David de Gea transfer saga. And though he was ready to swap places with the Manchester United man at Old Trafford, the deal collapsed and Navas now finds himself as first choice goalkeeper at Santiago Bernabeu.
For FIFA users, though, that may not be the case. Navas is rated at 79 for the new version of the game - and two scores lower than his supposed understudy Kiko Casilla - who arrived in the summer.
