Toni Kroos is one of the finest midfielders in world football. Having arrived at Real Madrid in 2014, the 26-year-old German international keeps going from strength and his performances are at times breath-taking.

His vision and range of passing are what makes him stand out as one of the best in the world, although his goal return of just the three in 99 appearances for the club could certainly be improved upon.

The former Bayern Munich man has been coveted by Manchester United for some time and it's easy to see why, with his command of the midfield unrivalled and his partnership with Luka Modric - sandwiched by the defensive steel of Casemiro - a large reason behind their Champions League success last term.
