FIFA 17 Career Mode: 11 Players You Need To Sign
6. Youri Tielemans
Youri Tielemans has been a great Career Mode signing for years, and it’s no different in FIFA 17. Still only 19, the Belgian CM is a highly promising young playmaker who is destined for FIFA greatness, and has already attracted Manchester United’s attention in real life. With overall potential of 89, Tielemans might be the best signing in the whole game, particularly when you consider he’s available for approximately £11m.
An exciting and adaptive central midfielder, Tielemans excels at a technical level. His short (77) and long (81) passing stats are already solid, and his ball control (81), dribbling (76), and reactions (76) really set him aside. Furthermore, he’s one of only a handful of CMs to come with a five star weak foot rating, making him capable of picking a defence-splitting pass in any situation.
Tielemans isn’t quick (sprint speed: 59) which might frustrate some players, but he’ll reach a respectable level by the time he reaches full potential. His strengths lie in his distribution, and as a Pirlo-esque central midfield controller, nobody can rival Tielemans.
