3. Kelechi Iheanacho

Sergio Aguero’s Man City deputy was a solid buy in last year’s game, but FIFA 17 has brought a justified boost in his statistics and valuation. Available for just a couple of million in FIFA 16, Iheanacho is now valued at £6m, but still represents excellent value for money when looking for a long-term striking option.

His strengths? Pace stands out first and foremost, and with acceleration of 89 and sprint speed of 85, Iheanacho is already lightning quick. Take his finishing (77), dribbling (74), positioning (75) and strength (74) into account, and you have a well-rounded centre forward with no obvious weaknesses. Iheanacho is custom built to lead the line on his own, and whether your play him as a poacher or a complete forward, he’ll do a job for you.

Starting at 74 overall, the 19-year-old Nigerian has the potential to grow to 88. Another long-term investment, but one that will pay endless dividends, and he can do a job for any mid-level Premier League side right away.
