FIFA 18: 10 Rumours You Need To Know

2. Players Will Be Able To Decide On A Real Madrid Move

In dreamteamfc.com's full preview of The Journey 2, the site discusses the chances of Alex Hunter moving abroad to Real Madrid. Obviously, that's a bigger move than any German or French club could offer, and it does seem logical; Hunter's Twitter account also follows La Liga alongside the Bundesliga and Ligue 1.

Dream Team do say they're unsure if the Madrid story will play out for everyone (maybe it'll be Barcelona depending on which Premier League side you choose to start out with?), but even early screens appear to show the young Englishman lapping up the sunshine in Spain's capital city.

Most interesting of all, it seems players will be given the choice of accepting the offer to become a Galáctico or staying to fight for their place in the Premier League. This is the kind of branching storylines EA need to make The Journey 2 a souped up improvement on the first, and feels way more exciting than last year's linear story did.
