FIFA 18: 5 Things We Learned From The Leaked Demo Ratings

Across the board, Man City aren't as good as Chelsea in in this year's game, but they're closer to the champions than their Manchester rivals. For attacking and midfield play, they fall a solitary point behind the Stamford Bridge club, which will be frustrating to fans of Pep Guardiola's cash-rich side.

It's only in defence that City match up to the champs, which is itself a surprise; perhaps the addition of Kyle Walker keeps things strong for City, because Chelsea's defence definitely appears a little stronger than the backline Guardiola has assembled. Also, forever injured City stalwart Vincent Kompany will surely again be one of FIFA's best all-round centre backs. Interesting, but not too realistic.

Even more interesting is the fact all 3 Premier League teams in the demo have a 5-star rating overall. That's generous, especially when you consider the other teams included like Juventus and Real Madrid. Look at how easily Madrid ripped apart United in the UEFA Super Cup Final in August.

Sure, it finished 2-1, but it was men against boys at times. Are those 5-star ratings really accurate?
