FIFA 18: Predicting The 10 Best Strikers

3. Neymar (93)

By contrast, gamers should expect Neymar to take the short hop from 92 to 93 in FIFA. His potential in FIFA 17 was already at 94, so assume that rises too and there's no reason why the nippy Brazilian forward shouldn't become even better. He's one of the world's best players already, after all.

Able to play anywhere in a front trio, Neymar is most dangerous when players defy EA's left wing suggestion to make him an out and out striker. His 75 crossing stat last year didn't really represent wonderful ability out wide anyway, and those tasty 93 acceleration and 89 finishing attributes are there to be improved this time around.

Played straight through the middle as a centre forward, Neymar has been an impact player in the most recent FIFA titles. FIFA 18 is the time to make him a true striker though, especially if his overall rating takes a jump and he (at 25) continues developing.
