FIFA 18: Predicting The 10 Best Strikers

2. Lionel Messi (94)

There's no end to Messi's genius with a ball at his feet, is there? Just when fans start wondering when he'll decline and make way for someone like Neymar to become Barcelona's lone star, the Argentinian wizard comes up with the goods. After another sterling season, he's got to be right up there in-game.

Last year's 93 rating should be handed to Neymar and Messi must go on to become a 94 rated player in FIFA. This would be his last significant jump however, because his 30 years mean a dip is almost inevitable (unless he has super powers, of course) in real-life over the next few seasons. Give Leo one last big push, EA.

Another player who is more effective if you ignore the right wing positioning and play him through the centre, Messi's high stats all round make it almost impossible to miss the target when holding down the shoot button. Only a 74 for stamina stands out as a slight weakness, and even that's not anything to worry about.
