FIFA 18 Top 100: 7 Biggest Surprises
6. 30 Premier League Players Included (But Only 1 In Top 10)
Listen to geezers like Gary Lineker on Match Of The Day each week and you'd be led to believe that the Premier League is where the world's best ply their trade. EA disagree, because only one man from the division cracked the Top 10 this year. Whether you agree the Prem is over-rated next to Europe's other top leagues or not, that's a surprise.
Chelsea wizard Eden Hazard was the man to do it, coming in at number 8 on the list. Elsewhere, 29 other Premier League stars joined him in the Top 100, but the closest to Hazard was Man Utd stopper David de Gea (11th). After the Spaniard, Arsenal's Alexis Sánchez came in at 14th, closely followed by Man City's Kevin De Bruyne at 15th.
The lowest ranked Premier League star in the Top 100? Man City's new wide man Bernardo Silva just squeaked onto the list in position 100. Others are sprinkled throughout, but only Hazard can boast being ranked alongside names like Lewandowski, Messi, and Ronaldo.
