FIFA 19: 10 Changes From Last Year's Game You Need To Know

6. Greater Accessibility

FIFA 19
EA

FIFA 18 came armed with a handy two-button control scheme that allowed young children to get in on the fun and play against more experienced gamers without being held back by their age. The simple set up used one of the control sticks for movement, one button for passing/cross/tackling and another for shooting.

Now, in 19, EA are stripping away one of the buttons completely and implementing a new one-button control style. This will come in very handy for anyone new to the game or those who have limited movement in their hands. After all, why shouldn't anyone who wants to play have the chance?

It's a neat idea.

The one-button layout will be fully contextual, so bear that in mind. It'll be difficult to pull off intricate skill moves with it, but the developers have done their best to ensure everyone can score goals and enjoy their game. It's legit ace to see EA put so much thought into things and provide better accessibility.
