FIFA 19: 10 Players Who Deserve A Rating Downgrade
3. Gonzalo Higuaín
Last Year's Rating: 90
New AC Milan striker Gonzalo Higuaín had a dismal time of it in Russia during the 2018 World Cup.
His three group stage appearances yielded no goals, and he lost his starting place for the Round Of 16 loss to France after that. This followed just one goal in nine qualifying showings. Higuaín, like many of his Argentine teammates, couldn't replicate searing club form at international level.
He's not off to the best of starts at the San Siro following his move from Juventus in the summer either. Gonzalo hasn't scored in Milan's first two Serie A matches, and that 90 rating he received in FIFA 18 is starting to look a bit excessive.
Now in his 30s, Higuaín isn't the hot young prospect he was when trading Real Madrid for Napoli in 2013. Proven goalscorer in Italy or not, 90 is over-the-top from EA, and Higuaín's rating should realistically fall this year to between 85-88.
