FIFA 19: 11 Players Who Will Be Overrated
4. Raheem Sterling
Raheem Sterling just had his best ever season with Manchester City, so how could his rating possibly be too high? Well, because he still isn't all that great a player.
Sterling has all the potential in the world... but that has been the case for five years now. Since being thrust into the spotlight at Liverpool during the 2013/14 season, Sterling caught the eye of everyone with his incredible speed potential to be the next big English star. Since then, Sterling moved to Manchester City seeking trophies and more dollar dollar bills, has been hounded by the media, and improved little by little.
Sterling is certainly a better player now than he was at Liverpool, however, he's not on the level of other Premier League wingers like Wilfried Zaha, Eden Hazard, Sadio Mane, or his teammate Leroy Sane. He's added some goals to his game but he's still greedy and still makes terrible decisions.
His run with England at the World Cup was admirable but he cost his team as many potential goals as he created. He's still got room to grow but Raheem Sterling should stay around his 85 rating from FIFA 18, definitely no higher.
