Exactly who will grab the cover spot on FIFA's box art is one of the most important decisions EA face pre-release. It's all about world-branding, and that's why names like Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Mohammed Salah and even Harry Kane are being rumoured by fans on social media.

From 9-11 June this year, EA will hold their annual EA Play event. There, the team will announce some exciting projects for the future, release a few trailers and generally try to build excitement for their brand. It's also where EA are most likely to show off a FIFA 19 trailer and reveal which footy megastar will grace the game's cover.

Don't forget there's a World Cup this summer too, so the timing is ideal for EA to build anticipation.

If Kane makes the box, he'll be the first British name to be on there since Wayne Rooney and Jack Wilshere shared space for FIFA 12. Alternatively, EA may decide that Ronaldo deserves a second consecutive spot, Brazilian superstar Neymar should be on there or perhaps Everton's Phil Jagielka will get the nod.

Only kidding.
