FIFA 19 Career Mode: 10 Wonderkids You'll Need To Sign

7. Kai Havertz (Bayer Leverkusen - RM, LM, CAM)

18-year old Kai Havertz has already netted six goals in just five appearances for Germany's U19 side, and he became Bayer Leverkusen's youngest ever goalscorer back in 2016. That should tell you everything you need to know about his potential.

EA have done a bit of tweaking with Kai's rating since FIFA 18's release. Shooting up from a 73 overall to 77 depending on when you last updated the stats, the teenager is clearly considered one with a bright future by the developers. Expect those numbers to skyrocket again in FIFA 19.

Time to get the club bank card out then and sign him up before Man Utd (who appear intent on signing everyone in 18) beat you to it.

Havertz can play anywhere along the front line, but he's most effective on the right wing. There, he can cut inside and shoot on his left foot. As shown in 18, his three-star weak foot skills mean crossing from either side isn't a problem anyway.
