FIFA 20: 10 Players That Will Be Ridiculously Overrated

There are a lot of players in the world that skate by on name value alone, and Thomas Muller is one of them. The German international was once a big name that was said to have endless potential, but he never fulfilled it.

Much like his counterpart, Mesut Özil, Muller was part of the 2010 German International team that took the world by storm. Just like Özil, Mario Gotze, Holger Badstuber, and Mario Gomez from that squad, Muller never really broke through to the level we expected.

These days he's scoring 5-8 goals a season for Bayern Munich and getting a handful of assists. Hardly stats befitting of a player rated around 86. Muller is not a world-class striker, nor is he a world-class false nine. He is nowhere near as talented as out-and-out strikers like Harry Kane or Pierre-Emerick Aubamayang, nor is he as talented as false nine's like Roberto Firmino or Paulo Bybala.

So why is he rated so high? Name and name alone. 86 is a truly baffling rating for such a mediocre player, and he should be rated around 80 at best. If he played for Stuttgart we would bet he'd be a lot lower than even that.
