FIFA 20: 10 Players That Will Be Ridiculously Overrated
2. Gonzalo Higuan
Chelsea has had a real rough time when it comes to getting strikers in the past decade. From the tumultuous Diego Costa to the abysmal Alvaro Morata. After the departure of the latter, Gonzalo Higuain was another signing that was supposed to plug that hole but he failed to do the job.
In his time on loan at Chelsea, the 31 year old had a pretty mediocre time. In 14 appearances he scored 5 goals, followed by Chelsea refusing to extend his loan into anything more permanent. Higuain has returned to Juventus where he is, very much, surplus to requirements.
In fact, Higuain exposed himself greatly as a player that couldn't hang in the Premier League, therefore rendering his 87 rating in FIFA 19, highly questionable. The Premier League has served as a proving ground for foreign strikers to test themselves against the fastest and toughest league, and they either sink or swim. Higuain sank rapidly, albeit not quite as noticeably as Alvaro Morata before him.
So what should his FIFA 20 rating be? Well certainly nowhere near the 87 he got in FIFA 19. He's scored 11 goals in two seasons, meaning his rating should be squarely around 75, but that's never going to happen.
