FIFA 21: 10 Improvements To Ultimate Team We Want To See
7. Classic Kits
Now, of course, the priority for any new football-simulating game should be to get the action on the pitch feeling both realistic but also, crucially, fun to play. However, EA would be foolish to ignore just how much what footballers wear on the pitch means to fans.
Everyone has happy memories of when their favourite club was at their peak, so why not be able to recreate that by including classic kits for teams that players can unlock in-game.
The only issue with this may be getting licences for kits that have a different sponsor or manufacturer from the one the team currently uses, but even then, just allowing players to use a template of some classic kits would benefit the FUT experience significantly.
The most frustrating thing is that this was regularly offered in both single-player, and Ultimate Team, in previous titles in FIFA franchise but year on year the variety has been phased out leaving players with increasingly fewer options to kit out their team with.
