FIFA 21: 10 Latest Rumours You Need To Know

7. Players Will Be More Lifelike Than Ever

Brace yourselves for the buzzwords.

EA love 'em, and they've whisked up some new ones for FIFA 21. One of the biggest is "off-ball humanisation", which certainly sounds fancy. According to the team's website, this means players might be spotted "adjusting shin pads in the 89th minute" of games. Is that needlessly complex or fascinating? You decide.

Some already think it's a load of technical jargon that won't really mean anything. Those who do believe, however, are excited about the thought of players who look more lifelike than ever before; it could be that EA are keeping this depth back for PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of the game only.

After all, it's difficult to see how they can squeeze much more out of current hardware, or why they'd bother when new systems are clearly the future. Fingers crossed this doesn't end up being more pre-release nonsense spouted to make FIFA 21 seem relevant.
