"Gameday immersion" (complete with an infuriating lack of space bar usage between "game" and "day) is another of the phrases EA are shouting about. The trailer seems to suggest that this will be better-realised than the earlier example - check out that gorgeous screenshot from the streets outside Anfield.

What a cracker that is.

Upon seeing the footage, a fair few long-term FIFA fans on Twitter began discussing the chances of EA throwing their might behind presentation. That'd mean less focus on actual gameplay advancements though, and such a move wouldn't please those who hate the arcade-ish, scripted feel EA's product has.

In other words, the on-field action would remain largely untouched and the developers would go hard on atmosphere surrounding the pitch. It's tough not to get a buzz on when seeing shots like the one above, to be fair.
