FIFA 21: 10 Players Who Will Be Horribly Underrated
3. Berat Djimsiti (Atalanta)
Really the entire Atalanta defence is underrated, but it is the Albanian international I will be focusing on for this entry.
After joining Atalanta for free back in January 2016 at the age of 22, Djimsiti was quickly thrown out on loan in the following few years, featuring for fellow Italian sides Avellino and Benevento.
Over the last two seasons, Djimsiti has become a far more fundamental cog in the Atalanta defence.
Operating as part of a back three, he is expected to be adept at ball playing to cover for the hard-tackling Palomino, and in this role he has excelled.
With the highest number of passes and the highest pass accuracy of his fellow centre backs, Djimsiti is thriving in his current role.
Whilst EA are set to give the Albanian an upgrade of 2 to a 75 - which is still too low - there is another issue with his in-game stats that may provide some truth to the claim that they simply don't pay attention to Italian football.
Djimsiti clocked up the 6th highest top speed in the Serie A in 2019 - just behind Cristiano Ronaldo - and yet is one of the slowest players in the entire game with just 33 pace.
Give him the 78 rating and 70 pace he deserves.
