FIFA 22: 10 Improvements To Career Mode We Want To See

2. Or New Generic Stadiums

EA could lessen the pain of stadium-related tedium by adding in a bunch of new generic grounds. That's not really greedy either, especially when players have seen the likes of "Ivy Lane", "Estadio De Las Artes" and "Stade Municipal" for around 15 years now.

These were a godsend in the pre-fully licensed Premier League days, but not now. FIFA's hardcore fans expect most top-to-mid-level English sides to have their proper home in-game, and there's an increasing appetite for greater authenticity elsewhere too.

EA can keep the stadiums they have whilst adding to the line up. That'd be a fair trade off if they can't offer some sort of stadium editing option.

Maybe FIFA 22 could up the presentation by sprinkling in a few more cutscenes (as discussed earlier). Players need a reason to identify "Molton Road" and the like as their team's home base. They need to see fans flocking to the ground and browsing the club shop.
