according to an interview with his management company Forza Sports Group) and he has the self-described style that would certainly fit the league: "I enjoy athletic defenders who stand their ground and play great football. In the future I would like to be seen as such a footballer." He is yet another high-profile product of the phenomenal Ajax youth system, which is renowned for producing gems in real life as well as in the Football Manager universe. Riedewald will be part of the Ajax Under-17 and Under-19 set-up this season, after impressing for both the Dutch Under-17 national team and Ajax Under-17s last season. With his help, the Ajax side managed to win the Championship, SuperCup and Aegon Future Cup and he has already been called-up to the Holland Under-19 squad. Riedewald is graceful, with strong positional sense and vision, and his intelligence on the ball is one of his chief assets, as well as his passing ability and ball control, and he is noted for his leadership abilities despite his young age. Given SI's obvious value on the Ajax youth set-up, it's likely that Riedewald will follow the likes of Viktor Fischer onto FM 14 player's early scouting lists, and if his real world potential is captured in the game, he will be a big signing.
