Football Manager 2014: 11 Wonderkids You Must Watch Out For

5. Richairo Zivkovic - FC Groningen

Richairo ZivkovicNationality: Dutch Position: Striker The New: Arjen Robben Liverpool have recently been credited with an interest in Groningen's latest claimant to the "New Arjen Robben" title (according to MailSport), who has already broken the record for youngest ever goalscorer (which was previously held by Robben himself) and it looks like he has a major future ahead of him if he can deliver on his potential so far. He is tall - though not as tall as FM 13 suggested last year (his height was out by 16 cm, which might as well be 8 foot) - and in FM 13 he quickly developed into a high-scoring striker, even within 2 or 3 years, when his stats blossom exceptionally quickly. He is attracting a lot of attention, even aside from Liverpool's interest, and a move to a top European club, on the back of scouting assessments that have likened him to Bojan Krkic, Filippo Inzaghi and Patrick Kluivert as well as Robben, looks a certainty in the next few years. In FM 13, he was pacey, strong and very good in the air, thanks to his height, and his positional sense was a major bonus, as he finds the space and the timing to get into the box and score naturally. If FM 14 follows that trend, and his real life development, it looks almost certain that he will be a major prospect in the game.
