At the outset of the game, Stanciu is valued at only around £500k, but Steau clearly recognise his potential, and only accept a bid of around ten times that much, which can seem like overpayment on initial reflection, considering his starting stats. But any concerns will immediately evaporate after a season or two of development, as he looks like much more than the 3.5 star rated prospect your coaches will initial suspect. Even after purchase for £5m, his value goes up to £7.5m, and he is a genuine bargain, even at £5m for a largely unproven talent. His assist rate for a 20 year old is very impressive, with 9 from 40 and a rating of 7.25 for Steau, and he will gel with your team as long as you spend the first season either blooding him slowly or sending him out on loan where he can blossom a little more.
