Football Manager 2015: 15 Wonderkids You Must Watch Out For
14. Adam Armstrong (Newcastle United)
Hyped-up young players never really make the grade at Newcastle. Michael Chopra quickly went off the rails and now plays in India, aged 30. Steven Taylor is a back-up to Mike Williamson whenever he's not injured and Shola Ameobi became a joke figure during his long time on Tyneside. In recent times, Adam Campbell has shown fantastic potential - which was matched on FM14 - but the pacy 5ft 7in striker had an unproductive loan spell at St Mirren and is now at Fleetwood Town. Adam Armstrong, though, could be the real deal. The forward has impressed in his sporadic appearances and assisted two goals in his first senior start against Crystal Palace in the Capital One Cup. At 17, Armstrong could go in any direction but he has the ability and level-headedness to go far. Another good talent on Tyneside is Jamaican winger Rolando Aarons, who scored in the league meeting with Palace.
