Football Manager 2015: 20 Ultimate Wishlist Features It Must Include

12. Bringing Players Out Of Retirement

When Manchester United were lacking a central midfield option in the dying embers of Sir Alex Ferguson's tenure at the club, Paul Scholes was called upon to shore up a struggling side and sign a short-term deal. The Red Devils benefitted hugely from the return of the veteran playmaker, leaving it as an interesting proposition for virtual careers too. Should players have retired for whatever reason, be it injury or simply deciding to call an end to their footballing days at a more premature age than is normal, having the opportunity to chat with such players and attempt to persuade them to lace up their boots once more would be a nostalgic feature. Of course, it would make more sense for former clubs to have greater influence, but being able to bring make players of old for short periods would be an endeared feature and an interesting option should you struggle with player recruitment. Think that Dean Ashton could still do a job for Crewe Alexandra in the lower leagues? Well, this feature would fulfil your wildest dreams.
