Playing with or without a kit pack, it can get a little bit monotonous to field the same shirt in consecutive seasons. It might become endearing in some way, if you stay with the same club for many seasons, but a bit of change never hurt anyone. Sponsors aren't wholly important in Football Manager, but kit deals can boost your finances nicely - why not include some customisation? Perhaps bringing in new sponsors could result in a change of the logo on the front of your kits, or you could inact some subtle tweaks - or pull a Vincent Tan and put in a request for wholesale changes. Similarly, new take-over deals could lead to the board imposing certain aesthetic changes on the field. Change the colours of the kit and perhaps the fanbase will call for your sacking, just tweak from a few available designs and you could be turning up to game in much more aesthetically pleasing attire.
