2. Ricky Alvarez
Ricky Alvarez. Just sign him. The Argentine international winger was a glimmer of hope during Inter Milan's dark days from just a couple of seasons back, though he was loaned to Premier League Sunderland with a clause that stated the North East team MUST sign him if they survived relegation. They survived relegation. However, Alvarez' form was inconsistent and suffered an injury that required surgery. Inter Milan allegedly delayed the surgery, forcing him out for the season, and Sunderland refused to pay the £11 million fee to honour the deal. The whole mess went to FIFA where proceedings are ongoing. Both clubs can share the blame, but you've got to feel sorry for Alvarez who was left without a club. The plus point is that he's completely free on Football Manager. Premier League teams with a generous wage budget, get in there and grab a bargain.
