Vlaar is the man for you if signing a starting centre back is your mission, but there's more to keeping clean sheets than just a good back line. Having a defensive midfielder sitting in front of the back four can take a huge strain off their shoulders, and if you're looking to sign one three years in advance, look no further than Norwegian youngster Kristoffer Ajer. The 17-year-old can move further up the pitch, but if you heavily impress defensive midfielder training on him, he'll reap the rewards of specialist attention. His mental stats are all fantastic for a teenage player, and barring his quickness, you shouldn't be worried about his physical stats either.
