Transfer Budget: £17.2m, Available Wages: £175k

Real Madrid are Spain's richest club in this year's FM. They come with a solid £17.2m transfer budget, which isn't quite enough to bring in a new Galactico, but they don't exactly need major investment.

Real's squad comes with obvious quality. Only Barcelona can rival their Bale-Benzema-Ronaldo front line, and the starting XI is rightly among the best in the game. Chances are that if you're starting a Real game, it's for immediate success rather than a long-term project: for that, you might not even have to use your budget.
