Wolfsburg are always a fun team to manage in FM. Like Tottenham, they come with an excellent starting squad that's just short of elite, but smart use of their starting budget should see Wolfsburg push towards the Bundesliga's four Champion's League spots.

Central midfield will likely be your first area of improvement, as there's little quality outside of Luiz Gustavo, and you'll need some cover up front if veteran poacher Mario Gomez doesn't cut the mustard. Still, Wolfsburg's starting squad provides some excellent building blocks for a long-term project.

They also got rid of Nicklas Bendtner in the summer: that's gotta be worth something, right?
