Football Manager’s database is almost incomprehensibly vast. There are more available leagues and clubs than anyone could ever hope to play as, and most players won’t even scratch the surface. The game features literally hundreds of thousands of personnel every single year, and provided your computer has enough processing power, you’ll rarely be short of potential signings, challenges, and teams to play as.

That being said, FM gamers are always crying out for more, and the default database still has room for expansion. Sure, you can add new personnel and competitions to the game by downloading data packs, but this can be a minor hassle, and it’s not an option if you’re an FM Touch player. It’d be awesome to see SI expand Football Manager's scope not only by adding some of the missing leagues, but by thinking outside the box for some exciting new additions.

Why not add a handful of classic databases, or even introduce women’s football to the game? EA Sports have already toyed with this concept in FIFA, and given the women’s game’s growing prominence around the world (particularly in America), it makes perfect sense.
