Jonathan Tah has been a known Football Manager commodity for a few years now, and he should be as strong as ever in FM18. The 21-year-old missed a lot of games through injury last season, but remains one of Leverkusen's star men, and he'll likely be a constant presence in the German national side for years to come.

Tah invariably developed into one of the best defenders in the game last year, with his outstanding physical and technical attributes marking him as a dominant all-round performer. If you can get hold of him, he's somebody who could feasibly anchor your defence for at least a decade, and will soon become one of his generation's finest players.
