Football Manager 2018: 20 Wonderkids You Will Need To Sign

11. Ben Woodburn

A nimble advanced forward, Ben Woodburn was quietly one of the English Premier League's most exciting prospects in Football Manager 2017. Convincing him to leave Liverpool was tough, but the then 16-year-old's pace and finishing made him a smart, long-term acquisition if he became available.

Woodburn has since made his debut for Liverpool's first team, and became the club's youngster goalscorer by netting against Leeds in last season's League Cup. His rise to prominence will likely coincide with an increase in value, but if he comes with as much potential as he did in 2017, Woodburn could eventually develop into his generation's Michael Owen.
