Really good goalkeepers come at a premium in Football Manager, but it's still frustrating to have to go out and buy a back-up you don't intend to play a great deal. The free market is the best option for picking up a bargain who'll sit on your bench (or potentially do a job in lower league clubs).
Xabi Irureta is definitely one of the best options - not least because he's only 31 and has much more of his career still ahead of him than lots of the competition. His keeping stats are also pretty solid (though 11 for handling is a little worrying) and he's a no-brainer as a back-up.
