Had he faced less first team competition at Arsenal, there's a good chance Brazilian Denilson might have made it in the Premier League, but as it was he was mostly limited to being a bit part player for the Gunners. Since then, he's played in Brazil a couple of times and the UAE, but it's fair to say he's never lived up to his potential.
Still, he's got fairly solid stats and will do a job as a back-up defensive midfield anchor. He's limited, but that role doesn't need a playmaker necessarily and there's a good reason he'll be sought after when the game kicks off.
