It worked for Mercenaries and seems to be what Crackdown is focussing on, but the grandaddy of kaboom himself, Just Cause 3 just dropped their latest trailer and it's absolutely unabashed, gasoline-soaked mayhem. Developers Avalanche are essentially making a point on continuing where JC2 left off, which means more things to attach your grapple hook to, a wider variety of vehicles to ride then blow into a million pieces - and a world of collapsible geometry built to let you detonate entire chunks of it with an endless amount of C4. Outside of that, you've got access to a wingsuit that looks like it can be deployed any height, letting you soar above the island or twist through tight skyscraper-filled cities - and with the power of newer hardware it feels like Avalanche are more than delivering on the biggest "F-YEAH!" minute-to-minute highs of their last two games.
