https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqCKu_79FIg When EA first announced their authentic and feature-complete Episode VII tie-in (in marketing terms anyway) would be multiplayer only, it lead to many fans being suitably mortified they'd be forced to play it against thousands of mother-insulting seven year-olds. Thankfully that's not the case any more (or at all, as it appears whoever was in charge of their PR must've had a day off). Now we've got full-on X-Wing vs. TIE fighter dogfights that put an emphasis on staying in formation, receiving commands from HQ and taking down the opposition, all without needing to venture online. A bonus tidbit of info dropped during EA's conference was that in addition to those in your game, you'll be joined by 20 A.I. fighters to fill up the skies. As the whole game has had the official movie sets and props scanned in and rendered using a process called Photogrammetry, it makes Battlefront easily be the most impressive-looking Star Wars experience yet, so let's just hope EA can deliver a worthwhile experience regardless of whether you want to play solo or otherwise. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvr0h4FlJLc
