Gamescom 2015: Every Brand New Gameplay Demo You Need To See

11. WWE 2K16

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etJt0wljlLw Like Ubisoft, 2K aren't exactly on great terms with their fans following a lacklustre instalment in 2014's 2K14. Thanks to spotty character models, misplaced design choices that made all the matches feel the same and many modes and features being stripped back from the previous year's instalment, it's a damn good thing they appear to be righting the ship for this year's version. First off the roster is HUGE, like absolutely staggering in its size; featuring around 120 unique-playing superstars apparently all with motion-captured moves and facial expressions. Gameplay-wise it's fairly thin on the ground aside from showcasing a match between Finn Balor and Seth Rollins, the entrances of which you can see below. Fans will note 2K are trying a new submission system yet again - something that seems a bit reminiscent of Yukes' work on the UFC Undisputed games, whereby you and your opponent essentially 'chase' each other around a small icon until one of you gives up or taps out. With Stone Cold Steve Austin on the cover, 2K are aiming to wrangle in some old school fans of the Attitude era alongside the ongoing show, and with any luck 2K16 can come somewhere close to the likes of Here Comes the Pain or their own 2K13 later this October. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHWZZp_eSfM
