4. FIFA 2019 Is Getting A...Survival Mode!?

Because even football games are trying to cash in on the Battle Royale craze, EA confirmed that FIFA 19 will feature a Survival Mode, in which every time a team scores a goal, the scoring player is ejected.

In essence, the better you're doing, the more disadvantaged you are, potentially allowing a major shifting of the tides as the losing player has more bodies on the pitch (for a little while, anyway).

It's easy to imagine many games ending up with just two players trying to get past one another, which sounds both savage and hilarious. While many hardcore fans have decried such a frivolous addition, it's certainly an interesting way to make the game a little more appealing to casuals.
