2010 was a bumper year for video games, with the release of successful sequels and new titles onto our screens. To name just a few, Assassin's Creed, Battlefield, Bioshock, Call of Duty, Mass Effect, God of War and Fallout all released new chapters to their respective franchises.

But with thousands of fresh gaming adventures in the last decade, how easy is it dust off the 2010 cobwebs and remember some facts about these classic releases?

Call of Duty: Black Ops saw the start of a new CoD story, as players assumed control of CIA operative Alex Mason, Battlefield's second Bad Company release saw fresh emphasis on dynamic and destructible environments and added some new excitement to the franchise, and 2010's Fallout title redefined the city of Las Vegas for fans of the post-apocalyptic game, in a year which changed the game for the industry.

As much as us gamers can deny it, the memory of each year is pretty closely linked to the top games and releases across those 365 days. With that being said, how well do you know the titles that turned ten this year?
