1. It's The Best Of The Series
All things considered, this really is the best game with the Gears of War name yet. It would have been easy for Judgment to be an adequate spin-off that doesn't in any way shake things up, but People Can Fly have clearly put as much effort into the game as they would a main franchise title; the result is one of the most blisteringly intense, dynamic and down-right entertaining action titles in a long time. From the characters, to the story, to the new gameplay mechanics and the scintillating online offering, this serves up just about everything that a Gears fan or, indeed, a fan of violent shooters could possibly want. I just can't wait to see what the franchise has up its sleeve next on the Xbox 720. Looking forward to Judgment? Let us know what you think of it!
