The bane of many a multiplayer mode is the laborious process that comes afterwards - hell, even Bungie are still working around the clock to implement the tiniest tweaks to Destiny's core formula and keep everyone happy. For Gears - again, like many games - the biggest problem was the Gnasher shotgun. Introduced in part three this rather stubby sawn-off style boomstick became the fastest way to annoy your friends in any multiplayer arena, as (probably like a good shotgun would) getting anywhere within a few feet meant an instant kill, and nothing more sportsmanly than that. The arguments will rage on from game to game about how cheap or effective run n' gunning in a state of total double-barrelled bliss really is, but it's over to Black Tusk to make sure they balance every weapon just right this time, and stay on top of the community as it builds along the way.
